Randy Wooten figured he would get at least one vote in his bid for mayor of this town of 80 people — even if it was just his own.
He did not. Now he has to decide whether to file a formal protest.

As Republican voters, I figure you’ve got two choices when you step into the voting booth today. You can either get pissed on, or you can get pissed off. And if you choose the latter — if you decide it might be important that your Republican leaders actually act like Republicans, and also treat the Constitution as something other than a nice absorbent blotter for their processed beer — you might consider doing what it appears so many others are going to do this year and give your vote to the Democrats.

My sister reports from Chicago:
so my polling station had 2 ways of voting : electronic and fill in the arrow with a black pen and get your sheet scanned. the computerized voting was broken. at 6:15 am (polls opened at 6)

and despite being told that someone would be on hand for technical problems (so the staff said), no such person was present
