Bray New World began back in 2004 when a few folks realized their mutual habit of emailing a group of friends when they found something of political interest. Eventually they realized that if they put this interesting stuff on a Web page instead of into an email, they’d have less clutter in their inboxes, and they’d reach a wider circle of friends. Thus was Bray New World born.

We don’t aim to provide cutting-edge, hard-hitting investigative blogging; we’re regurgitating cool stuff that we think folks will enjoy reading. So we hope you dig our particular flavor of, um, regurgitation. Okay, this metaphor is not working.

Bray New World’s authors live in Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles. Now if only we had contributors in San Francisco and DC, so we could truly represent all the great parts of America that Republicans hate.
