Ordinarily I don’t like linking to other music blogs – it seems parasitic – but I’m taking exception because I cannot get Lily Allen’s song LDN out of my head. It’s that perfectly breezy, fun summer single.

Here’s what I know about Lily Allen:

• she’s English.
• her dad is Keith Allen, who is apparently someone of note in the UK.
• her MySpace page has a million hits, so I’m not alone in digging her stuff.

Sadly, I don’t know if she’ll get much airplay on this side of the pond; nowadays we seem to prefer pap like Kelly Clarkson to singers with furrin accents. A shame, really, since this song is totally infectious.
