Danger Doom, a collaboration between Danger Mouse and MF Doom, put out a great album last year, The Mouse and the Mask, inspired by (and featuring) the Adult Swim lineup. (You can hear four tracks from that album at their MySpace page.)

Well, Adult Swim is now offering a free EP, Occult Hymn, featuring several remixes and a few new tracks. I’m digging Perfect Hair II and Sofa King Remix, myself. And in a neat twist, the EP features lots of cameos from Adult Swim shows that have come on the air since the original album came out.

Ever wonder what it would sound like if the Bee Gees covered a Pixies song? Or maybe Prince? Or even Frank Sinatra?

Wonder no longer, thanks to Matthew’s Celebrity Pixies Tribute.

Some of these work better than others, but I’ll be damned if Hey as performed by Prince isn’t a frightfully good Prince impression, and River Euphrates as performed by Tina Turner is one of the coolest things ever.
